Features of Air Purifier Accessories

Air purifiers you can Click here are helpful devices which purify indoor air through the process of oxidizing air molecules and, simultaneously, producing negation ions, to eliminate odors that can cause allergic reactions among the people inside the house, such that they can experience sneezing, sinus and ear irritations, asthma and itchy eyes. A list of these pollutants can be removed by air purifiers: tobacco smoke, cigarette smoke, cigar smoke, bacteria, germs and viruses, mold, mildew, spores and fungi, pollen, house dust and dust mites, odors and smells, chemical gases from cleaning products and furnishings.

The function of the ozone plate, which is an integral part of air purifiers, is to combine in a chemical reaction with existing odors, chemicals, and gases in the house, which effects in producing oxygen and water. Ozone plate should be replaced once its distinct smell in the room is no longer sensed.

By filtering air molecules in a manner in which lint screens catch the large air particles, which are responsible for the air pollution, the process results into separating the polluted air and allowing clean air in the room.  Cleaning lint screens once a month with a cloth and warm water must be regularly maintained, as well as regular inspection for possible cracks that should signal for a replacement.

In producing clean air around 99.97% of air pollutants must be removed and the High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters in air purifiers can do just that filtering air pollutants with sizes of 0.3 micrometers and above. There are three steps to maintaining HEPA filters: remove the filter from the air purifier and go outside the house; use an air hose to blast the filter, cleaning both sides of the filter; if moderate water pressure will be used to clean the filter, allow the filter to dry first.

The production of ultraviolet lights from the lamp helps to kill the presence of bacterial pathogens that are present in the air and other harmful air particles, such that the elimination of these pollutants can help to maintain a clean air.  Caution must be observed at staring too long at the UV lights emitted by the lamp as this can harm the eyes and that is why in most air purifiers, a protective covering is usually designed to house the UV lamp lights.

In some air purifier models and Air Purifier Products, environment pads are added to provide the extra level of filtration especially for types of environments that are heavily polluted and one great benefit of having this accessory is that there is reduction of maintenance of the air purifier, such that cleaning the unit can be performed once every three to six months instead of a monthly basis.
